Company History

1963Rodmatic Precision Engineering is founded. The company is based at Ascot, Berkshire, UK.
1966The company moves to larger, modern premises at 45 Boulton Road, Reading, UK.
1979The company moves to its current premises at Portman Road, occupying 18,000 sq.ft.
1990Rodmatic becomes fully accredited to ISO 9001.
1994Additional facilities are added, expanding the operation by 10,000 sq. ft.
2000Robert Rickman joins as Managing Director. The company invests in triple turret and twin spindle CNC lathes.
2006Rodmatic forms Hytek division to provide hi-tech manufacturing services using the latest generation of CNC machine tools.
