Volume production and specialist small batch subcontractor Rodmatic Limited of Reading has expanded its customer liaison operations following the appointment of Jeremy Willett as customer support engineer.
With a background in customer services within the aerospace and controls sector, Jeremy, 47, has been involved in purchase, production control and liaison between customers, suppliers, engineering and production. Prior to joining Rodmatic he spent two years at an aerospace subcontractor as production control manager.
In his new role, he will take on internal sales, liase with production control and take responsibility for added value services as part of Rodmatic's growing turnkey subcontract operations in the oil and gas, fluid power, medical, specialist automatic and marine sectors.
Rodmatic with its Multico volume production and Hytek small batch 'one-hit' machining strategy operations employs 55 people and is progressively expanding its business into the global production arena. Said Brian Steatham managing director: "Jeremy's position is a key role to provide a direct line of contact for customers as he will be networking with all departments within the company to co-ordinate day-to-day activities."
