The influence of recently appointed sales manager Bob Todd on Rodmatic Limited's subcontract machining business in Reading and the ability to co-ordinate production response to customer requirements in the oil and gas, medical, fluid power and specialist automotive sectors has been rewarded with an immediate promotion to Sales Director.
Maintains managing director Brian Steatham: "Bob's experience in the fastener business before joining Rodmatic has proven to be invaluable. He has taken an overall responsibility for production control and scheduling while maintaining front line customer contact which means he can make constructive decisions with the knowledge of any roll-on effects it will have in the factory."
Bob Todd joined Rodmatic in February 2007 having worked on both sides of the supply chain business covering component sourcing and sales while being involved in setting up in-depth logistic strategies. This background, according to Brian Steatham: "Is proving to be a confidence booster to customers as we are moving step by step towards a global subcontract business. While it is good to be achieving progress internationally, in-depth experience enables us to side step possible pitfalls and be fully aware of any lurking repercussions when taking on offshore contracts."
