Machine Setter

We currently have a vacancy for a Machine Setter reporting to our Manufacturing Manager. Ideally applicants should have experience of multi spindle machines although consideration would be given to centre lathe turners and single spindle capstan setters or similar. A good appreciation of drill and form grinding coupled with experience in the use of micrometers, verniers and gauges is essential.

Rodmatic has an extensive range of Wickman 6 spindle automatic lathes. Maximum bar sizes range from 1” diameter up to 3 ¼” diameter.

Specific, on the job, training will be given.

Internal Technical Sales Engineer

We currently have a vacancy for an Internal Sales person, reporting to the Sales Manager. Ideally applicants should have an engineering background, and be able to assess enquiry drawings for suitability and costing.

Responsibilities include liaising with customers, dealing with enquiries, and also liaising with our production department. We are looking for a bright energetic individual who has a will to succeed and thrives on the pressures of a busy sales environment.
